Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are your puppies AKC Registered?
All of my puppies are registered with the American Kennel Club. All puppies are sold on a limited registration meaning their offspring cannot be registered if they were bred and produced puppies. They must be spayed/neutered by one year of age.

  • What vaccines are given to the new puppy?
When your puppy goes home they are given one DHPP vaccine and will have a recent health exam/health certificate by a licensed veterinarian and negative stool sample. They will be microchipped and have had the proper deworming protocol.

  • What other documents do you provide?
You will receive copies of the parents health testing done and a pedigree of your new puppy. My vaccine protocol, Health Guarantee which includes the agreement to spay/neuter your pet and information on your new puppies daily routine as well as how much they eat and how often.

  • What else comes with the puppy?
Each puppy is sent home with a nice puppy pack to get you started with your new puppy. It includes a harness or collar and leash, current food the puppy has been eating, a blanket that smells like the litter mates to help with the transition to its new home, toys, chews and information on the care and daily schedule of your puppy.

  • Do you have a waiting list?
I do not keep a waiting list. If you are interested in getting a puppy from me I would suggest to keep in contact with me and bookmark my website for any information about upcoming breedings.

  • Do you accept visits to meet your dogs and puppies?
Yes! I have people visit when I have a puppy available. Visits usually happen when the puppies are around 5 to 6 weeks of age. I do not have people visit prior to that to cut down on the amount of foot traffic in my home.

  • Where are the puppies raised? The first few weeks of life they are raised in my bedroom, when they start to walk around and their eyes are open they are moved to my dining room where they are raised underfoot and use to the sites and sounds of everyday living.

I have a Puppy Checklist to help you know what other items you will need to prepare for your puppy's arrival.

Please download the Health Guarantee for you to look over before you pick up your puppy. This will be filled out by me and you may add in your information at the time of pickup.
